We’ll be using joint compound to texture papers or canvas. You will also be introduced to various other textures such as pumice, black lava, glass bead gel, crackle paste, and white opaque flakes. Learn how to remove dust, scratches, and tears from old or damaged photos, add vibrant color to faded photos, enhance new photos by removing blemishes and unwanted shadows, removing red-eye, cropping, resizing, sharpening, adding text or borders, creating photo collages of multiple pictures, and much more! In this workshop, students will explore the figure in sculpture using a variety of hand building techniques with terra cotta clay. The head and the torso will be approached.
